Dr Chanda was serving as theTechnical Consultant at National
Service Scheme,University Talk Aids, Ministryof HRD, Deptt.
Of Youth Affairs and Sports during his
postgraduation.Hastraining /exposure in the discipline of
Obs & Gynae and General Surgery.His dissertation was
accepted at the FIGO World Congress where he presented
hispaper in Sept1994.His findings are being followed at
National Rural HealthMission of Anthelmintic administration
followed by Oral Iron Supplementation.
He has been working at ICMR RegionalCentre for Clinical
Research in Human Reproduction, IPGME&R and SSKMHospital
Kolkata with special interest in Immuno-contraception and
reversiblemale contraception in cooperation with IIT, KGP.
Humbled by guidance of Prof.Gursaran Praan Talwar of NII.
He has been associated asTrainer's trainer in Essential New
Born Care ( UNICEF, GOI & NNI) Guidanceunder Dr. Meherban
Singh of AIIMS in reducing Neonatal & Infant Morbidityand
Mortality.
Worked in more than 15projects of ICMR HQ with special
mention of Phase IV study with Centchroman,NorplantII, PGE2
gel, Sub dermal contraceptive implant Implanon (
Nexplanon).PulsePolio Immunisation, Health Account Scheme(
Task Force study) The last being NationalRegistry on Covid
19 infection among Pregnant women and their neonates.
Pregnancy outcome in Indianwomen with endometriosis and
Biomarker correlation under collaboration withICMR NIRRH
Mumbai.
