Research Experience

28 years as SI/ Co-PI and as Research Officer(Demography), Research Officer(Medical), and Scientist B(Medical) in different Extramural and Intramural Projects at HRRC(ICMR), R G Kar M C, Kolkata, and ICMR-NICED, Kolkata. The Field Trials and Surveys were in districts like Kolkata, 24 Parganas(North), Hooghly, Burdwan(East), and Burdwan( West). The Projects were both with Retrospective and Prospective Studies on different RCH (Reproductive And Child Health) Issues. These were mostly Multicentric For the last 4 months having experience in HGCO-19 Clinical Trial on Covishield and mRNA Vaccines Trial at ICMR-NICED...
Participated in All India Young Scientists' Symposium at Guwahati Medical College, organized by ICMR in 1996. Attended All India Workshop of ICMR on Research Methodology at Silchar Medical College also.
Vice President, Indian Medical Pharmacologists Association (IMPA).

Having Research Interests in Clinical Trials, Epidemiological Surveys, and Studies in Maternal and Child Health, Reproductive Health Issues including Reproductive tract Infections(RTIs), Contraceptives, Infertility, Adolescent Health, Gastro-intestinal Diseases, and other Communicable/Infectious Diseases.
