Research activity

1. Research interest: Active in clinical research. Research focus is Oncology-palliative care & Pharmacology interventions, Digital health.
2. Areas of Interest are Chemotherapy induced Nausea & vomiting, Mucositis, Digital Health, Antimicrobials and Communication skills
3. Major work: Started research with Olanzapine as add on in Chemotherapy induced nausea and vomiting at CMC-Ludhiana. Later published by a Springer Nature journal and incorporated in a Cochrane review by UK researchers. Still working on further follow up projects on chemotherapy induced nausea & vomiting.
4. Remained Principal Investigator and Co-investigator of number of academic research projects.

3. Received 'Young investigator' (Young scientist) in Washington DC, USA from the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in cancer (MASCC)
4. Declared as the first ever 'MASCC Ambassador for India' in 2017-18 and again in 2019
5. First Indian to join the post of Vice Chair in Palliative Care study group of MASCC.
